Despite having no dosage (the mixture of cane sugar and old wine, without which most champagnes would be unpalatable), the fruit in this Pinot Noir wine is excellent. Packed with delicious biscuity flavours yet as dry as a Chablis.

![]() ![]() ![]() Producer Profile...
Father and son work together to produce fine Champagnes using very traditional methods - their labels too are attractively old fashioned. The wine is cellared beneath their charming, vine covered 17th century house in the Grand Cru village of Bouzy, in the Montagne de Reims. Pinot Noir thrives particularly well at Bouzy, and the Clouet style of rich, concentrated, pretty wines results from making Champagne from 100% Pinot Noir. Jean-François Clouet is the winemaker.
