In the Press: Delicious Magazine - Dec 2011
Wonderful champagne in a vintage champagne style. Made using a high proportion of older reserve wines and undergoing extended ageing on lees to give yeasty, biscuity flavours. Elegant, complex and toasty with a long finish.

Beaumont des Crayères is in Mardeuil, a village west of Epernay and supplies all three Tanners Champagnes, our house, spécial and rosé. A highly impressive small co-operative of about 250 growers, with 90 ha under direct control of award-winning champagne maker, Jean-Paul Berthus, the vineyards are mostly located around the village in the Marne Valley. Pinot Meunier is the main grape variety grown - it performs extremely well on the cooler north-facing slopes and makes wines with a lovely soft fruity expression.
