Château Miaudoux
Saussignac 2005 - 50cl | Bin FS00505C
£15.20
Region
In the Press: Jancis Robinson, www.jancisrobinson.com
Only the oldest vines in the domaine are used for the production of this rich and concentrated sweet wine. Intense flavour with wonderful botrytis fruit and a fresh long finish. An excellent alternative to Sauternes!
Press Comments
"Quite refined, polished, nobly rotten wine from the Dordogne. Great balance. Good lemony acidity stops it being excessively sweet."

Producer Profile...
The small commune of Saussignac is situated in the south of the Dordogne, 20 km South-West of Bergerac. Gerard and Nathalie Cuisset bought Château Miaudoux in 1986 and since then have channelled all their efforts into producing exceptional wines.
