![]() ![]() ![]() Producer Profile...
Moselland is the product of ongoing mergers between cooperative wineries in Rheinland-Pfalz and, in 2000, with the co-op in Nahe. Today, 3290 member growers supply the winery with grapes from 2350 hectares of steep, labour-intensive vineyard in Mosel-Saar-Ruhr, Nahe, Pfalz and Rheinhessen. Half this area is planted with Riesling and consequently Moselland is currently one of the largest producers of Riesling worldwide. Standards are high with modern wine-making techniques and highly automated methods in their warehouse at Bernkastel. Pallets move around without a human in sight!
