The Cantina di Monteforte is situated in the village of Monteforte d’Alpone, in the eastern part of Soave Classico. The co-operative sources fruit from 1200 hectares of vineyard, sixty percent of which is planted on south- and southeast-facing hills. Though this area was originally a source of bulk wine for the merchants, the recent appointment of Gaetano Tobin as Director has led to a determined focus on producing quality wines from perfectly ripe fruit.
