Picked on the 20th December, this is one of the very few Eisweins made on the Mosel this year and there are only 600 halves. Dirk Richter was delighted by its development in bottle. Some what fresher than TBA with some moreish orange peel character.

The estate has been in the Richter family for 300 years. The estate consists of 15 hectares of vines which is quite large for this part of the Mosel. Dr Dirk Richter concentrates on quality and ferments all his estate wines in oak casks. Richter wines are noted for their longevity.
