An off-dry white, quite full with fruity, appley flavours. Fresh and zesty, this comes from the vineyard at Wroxeter, less than six miles from Shrewsbury, where the Romans may have grown vines and produced wine some 2000 years ago.

In 1988 Christine and David Millington decided to plant a vineyard at their farm, Glebe Farm, Wroxeter. The site is adjacent to impressive Roman ruins which historically had vinous connections. The 2½ hectare site produces red and white grapes, and wines that are lean and clean in style.
