An excellent oloroso with powerful aromatics, and a wonderful salty tang that weaves through a silky and intensely nutty palate. Lovely persistant walnut flavours in this classy, rich sherry from Gonzalez-Byass.

![]() ![]() ![]() Producer Profile...
Manuel Maria Gonzalez Angel moved to Jerez in 1865 where he bought a small sherry Company. Twenty years later as the business grew he formed a partnership with his English importer Robert Blake Byass and the firm of Gonzalez Byass was formed. In 1998 the descendants of Robert Byass withdrew from the company so today it is owned and run by the direct descendants of Mr Gonzalez. The fourth and fifth generations currently sit on the board. Their portfolio includes the famous Sherries of Tio Pepe and Croft, but they also produce wines from many regions of Spain as well as liqueurs and brandies.
