High on the plateau of Bommes, lying on sandy gravel soils, this 79 hectare property, owned by Mestrezat, has made great strides of progress since the early 1980s when it was struggling to hold its reputation. More recently the quality has returned with depth and intensity firm characteristics. Back in the 19th century Rayne-Vigneau had a reputation second only to that of Yquem.
