Very pure, very classic Pinot Noir from the hilltop village of Saint-Romain. Its succulence makes for easy drinking on any occasion, but perhaps it's best with game, after all Mr Gras is very keen on La Chasse!

Alain Gras has single-handedly put St-Romain on the map. His initial holding of 7 hectares has been enlarged through the use of his parents' 7 hectares allowing him to expand and develop his talent. His wines are contemporary in style and he takes pride in producing wines that give pleasure. It is no coincidence that Alain's wines are listed in so many of France's Michelin Three Star restaurants and in all the better eateries in the Beaune area.
