In 1970 Marc Ryckwaert and his brother Yves started clearing scrub land near the village of Mornas 10km north of Orange, and now has 29 hectares of Grenache, Syrah and a mixture of white grapes. Marc has been joined by his son Nicolas and their wines have tremendous fruit and concentration with herb and spice flavours. Marc does not like to age wines in wood. They have 30 hectares under vine with the rest of the land devoted to fruit trees.
