The Beaucastel estate has been in the safe and capable hands of the Perrin family since 1909. Over time the vineyards expanded with Jean-Pierre and François adding La Vieille Ferme in 1989. Since 1964 the entire property has been run along strict organic lines, though this is not stated on the label. They produce the longest lived wines of the Rhône Valley and they use all 13 permitted grape varieties. Also under the Perrin umbrella come the Coudoulet de Beaucastel, Côtes du Rhône and Perrin Reserve range.
