Two grapes give a very expressive nose of apricot and mango with a hint of smokiness. The Viognier grape adds a lovely stone fruit character, while the Roussanne adds more rustic elements. Well-balanced, it is a rich and complete.

Purchased in 2006 by Jerome Quiot, a negociant with a large holdings in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and domaines in Ventoux and Provence.The Trignon estate has 62 hectares of vineyards divided between the four villages of Gigondas, Rasteau, Sablet and Violes. The vinification is very traditional and most of the vines are at least 35 years old. Great attention is given to the quality of the grapes; the wines have deep concentration.
