![]() ![]() ![]() Producer Profile...
Winegrowers from 25 villages to the west of the River Rhône formed the Vignerons Ardèchois 30 years ago to better promote and develop their wines. The co-operative now represents 4000 producers, employs the latest viticultural technology and sources grapes from 9000 hectares of vineyard. With annual production in the region of 550,000 hL of largely varietal wines, UVICA is one of France’s leading producers. Sandstone and limestone-rich soils and cool night breezes from the nearby Cévennes and Vivarais mountain ranges assist in producing wines that are fresh and elegant.
