This is full and soft, very concentrated and rich, honeyed with great length and depth. With lowish acidity and good butteriness this is slightly atypical for Barsac but is a splendidly intense wine.

This is one of the oldest estates in Sauternes. The earliest part of the Château dates from 14th century. Owned by the Marquess de Lur Saluces since the end of the 18th century, it was purchased by Marcel Baly in 1977.
