Robert and Kim Cripps have made wine on their 18 ha estate since 1994. Careful selection of ripe grapes and no oak ageing make this an extremely fresh, drinkable and satisfying red with spicy plum fruit and ripe tannins.

Poujol was bought in 1994 by Robert Cripps and his American wife Kim, along with Robert's parents, Dick and Ann. Together they have concentrated on producing wines from local grape varieties, grafting new rootstock if appropriate. They have 18 hectares are under vine and the remaining 30 growing lavender.
