Michel Julien named this wine after the Trianon opera house in Paris, which is embellished in locally quarried marble. It has good Rhône fruit flavours and elegance attributable to the vineyard's marbley soils.

Acquired by the Julien family in 1858 they have 70 hectares under vine. The property is now in the hands of the fifth generation, Michel. The soil consists of marble and it was from a nearby quarry that marble was used for the Trianon Opera House in Paris.
