Nestling in the rolling hills of the McLaren Vale, Coriole combines cheese, olives and opera with serious winemaking. In this wine the classic Chianti grape oozes savoury charm with raspberries, cinnamon and a red cherry finish.

The Coriole Winery was established by the Lloyds in 1967 with 33 hectares of vines in the "Seaview" sub region of the McLaren Vale. The original vineyard at Coriole was planted in 1920, and further plantings were added in the late 1960's and 1990's. Mainly red earths over limestone, good winter rainfall, and the moderating influence of the sea have made Coriole a popular premium wine maker of the McLaren Vale district, producing finely structured wines with finesse.
