Chris Pask set up the winery in the area of the Ngaruroro River after spotting the potential of the stony soil from the air, in his role as a crop spraying pilot. In 1991 he employed Roseworthy graduate, Kate Radburnd as winemaker and their reputation has gone from strength to strength.
