Bodegas Weinert was founded in 1890 and is one of the smallest wineries in Argentina. Owned by Brazilian Bernardo Weinert it was re-built in 1975 and produces limited quantities of fine quality wines from old vines that are ungrafted and pre-phylloxera. Bernardo's daughter, Iduna is the company export director, and Swiss oenologist Hubert Weber crafts these wonderful wines using no new oak whatsoever. Weinert is highly regarded world-wide.
