A wonderfully characterful nose so classic of this variety, both floral and spicy at the same time. It is crisp, fresh and aromatic but well balanced with a clean finish.

![]() ![]() ![]() Producer Profile...
Don Cristóbal 1492 was established in 1998 and started its own wine production with the 2001 harvest. The estate totals about 200 hectares of which 125 ha are planted with vines over 4 sites: Finca La Niña; Finca La Pinta; Finca El Remanso; and Finca La Santa Maria. All four vineyards are located close to Mendoza City; the winery is just 39km to the south of the city. The winery is very high tech with modern temperature control facilities. All harvesting is still done by hand. Most of their production is exported; about 85% is destined for foreign markets. It is owned by the Lapania Vandenbalack family.
