Owned by United Distillers this is a small and originally isolated distillery that has been surrounded by the expansion of the town of Oban itself. A family of Oban merchants became distillers in 1794, although todays distillery probaby date from circa 1880. Fresh in style, with touches of peat, fruity seaweed and sea salt.
