Aged for 10 years in American oak and then finished for two in old Port casks which give butterscotch, toffee and winey touches to this soft, smooth malt. Aromatic, chocolaty notes, then velvety and round with touches of walnuts.

Genmorangie, meaning 'Glen of Tranquility', is the world's second-best-selling malt. The distilling of whisky goes back to 1730 but it was officially licensed in 1843. It has the tallest stills in Scotland which due to their shape yield a very fruity spirit. They use hard water that takes 100 years to filter through the rock to the distillery's springs.
