Established in 1894 just outside Elgin, Morayshire. Longmorn is not very well known today amongst the plethora of brands, but has a deserved reputation among some conoisseurs as one of the four finest malts, particularly for its complexities. The name comes from the gaelic word Lhanmorgund which means 'place of the holy man', a reference to the ancient chapel once standing on the site.
