A complex Speyside showing floral notes, fruit and liquorice then a sweet, spicy softness. Supple and full, then malty, with caramel, vanilla and spice, and delicate peatines. The first spirit flowed from the stills in 1897.

This is one of five distilleries in Rothes, all are just off the main street, and Glenrothes sits just behind the Police station. This small firm is owned by Highland Distillers and stands beside the peaty burn that supplies the water for the distillery. The style is perfumed, fruity, spicy and complex.
