Producer Profile...
Founded in 1815 after Napoleon's retreat from Moscow, Ivan Smirnoff leased a warehouse and set up his distillery. After the October revolution Vladimir Smirnoff fled to Paris and opened a new distillery. He sold his recipe to an old friend who produced the vodka in the United States. Owned by Heublein.
