Chicken tikka masala with rice and plain naan

2011	Described by one grower as ‘a dream vintage’; all styles made all excellent and yields up a little on 2009 and 2010.

2010	A good year with concentrated wines with high acidity and great minerality.

2009	A fine harvest in excellent conditions, not much botrytis but plenty of weight.

2008	More Kabinett-style wines this year after a low yielding late harvest.

2007	Outstanding for all styles with great weight and freshness.

2006	A very good vintage with most wines at Spatlese or Auslese level.

2005	Another excellent vintage with good quantities of botrytis wines also.

2004	Produced very good typical Kabinett and Spätlese wines.

2003	Lots of rich powerful wines were produced in 2003 with a lot of higher prädikat wines.

2002	Rain at the crucial time ruined hope of a great vintage but still very good particularly in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer.

2001	A superb vintage, particularly in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer.

2000	Broke the run of top quality German vintages although a lot of good Kabinetts were made.

1999	This vintage saw a big crop but also very good quality with a lot of QmP wines right up to TBA.

1998	Not quite as good as the previous four years but nevertheless, superbly rich wines have been produced in the Rhine vineyards.

1997	A fine hot summer followed by fine weather during the Riesling vintage resulted in some exciting wines.

1996	A mixed vintage, especially at the lower end. Those who were brave and harvested very late will have made some exceptional wines.

1995	Produced fine QmP wine, especially in the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer; rich, fat and sweet.

1994	A classic vintage for long term ageing in both Mosel and Rhine; lots of fruit and acidity.

1993	Produced good wines, especially Mosel-Saar-Ruwer.

1992	Produced fine, especially QmP wine from the Rhine.

1991	Reasonable quality, mainly QbA, some good QmP in both Rhine and Mosel.

1990	A superb vintage in both Rhine and Mosel for long-term ageing.

1989	Very good.

1988	Very good.

Delivery in Mainland UK

Delivery is FREE on orders of £90 or more to a single address in mainland UK.
£7.95 post & packing applies per delivery address for orders under £90.

Dozens, half dozens and 1,2 & 3 packs minimize packaging waste.

Unless advised otherwise, you will normally receive your delivery within two working days*, Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm.
Please contact us should this not be the case.
*You should allow three working days for delivery to the Scottish Highlands.

Please note: We operate a signature service on all deliveries.
Goods can be left unsigned for, but you must specify this during checkout, with instructions on where to leave the goods should you be out.
Any goods that have been left according to instruction and not delivered over the recipients threshold are left at the senders risk

- Next Week Day Delivery by 12 noon is charged at a flat rate of £12.
Orders for Next Day delivery must be received by 2pm on the preceding week day (excluding bank holidays) so that we have time to pack them.

- Saturday Delivery by 12 noon is charged at a flat rate of £20.
Orders for Saturday Delivery must be received by 2pm on Friday afternoon (or by 2pm on Thursday before the Easter weekend).

- Tasting Ticket(s) will be despatched by First Class Royal Mail (free of charge) to your selected delivery address within 2 working days of placing your order.

We always do our very best to achieve our stated delivery times but please note we can not be responsible for circumstances beyond Tanners control including, but not limited to, adverse weather conditions and supplier & carrier difficulties.

Delivery to other areas - additional charges

- Deliveries to the Isle of Wight are £5 per case
- Northern Ireland and Scilly Isles are £10 per case
- The main Scottish Islands and Isle of Man are £15 per case.

You should allow up to 6 working days for delivery to these areas.

Despatches to the Channel Islands, Republic of Ireland, the EU and elsewhere are by individual arrangement and are not orderable online.
Due to the customs paperwork involved we do not normally consider despatches of less than 10 cases. Please contact us regarding delivery abroad or call us on 01743 234455.

Gift Delivery

Multiple address checkout is now available and can be achieved by clicking on 'Deliver my order to several addresses' on the basket page. Please remember that if you select this option, the relevant delivery charges will be added per address. Our delivery charges are detailed below. (Please note you cannot pay by PayPal if you use the 'multiple address' checkout.)

Please note when sending gifts that addresses must be accurate, particularly for recipients at large organisations. Don’t forget to include a daytime phone number and 'Delivery Address Instructions' at checkout on where to leave the goods if the recipient is out; if you don’t the driver will leave a card to which the recipient will have to respond.

Finally, if an item is out of stock, to ensure a timely delivery, we will substitute with a similar item of equal or higher value (unless requested not to do so in your order’s delivery instructions.)

Returns

If you don’t like any wine that you buy from us, for whatever reason, return it within a month of purchase and we shall refund your money without question or delay.

Refunds for Tasting Tickets: If you need to arrange a refund at any time prior to us posting your ticket(s), please ring 01743 234455. Once we've posted the ticket(s), if you are unable to attend for any reason, please let us know as soon as you can and wherever possible, we will attempt to resell your ticket(s) on your behalf.

Please note that once we've despatched them, refunds can only be issued in the instance that we are able to resell your ticket(s).

Claims
