All Wines by Country
The world of winemaking is a large one – historically much of which was focussed on what is known as the 'old world'. This encompasses mostly European winemaking countries such as France, Spain, Italy and Germany. In latter years, the emergence of improved winemaking techniques and further vineyard planting has resulted in a much stronger 'new world' offering which includes New Zealand, Chile, South Africa, Argentina, California and Australia. At Tanners we don’t just like to stick with what you know – our buyers frequently travel far and wide to search out interesting finds for you. This has resulted in listings for Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Lebanon, Mexico, Israel, Canada and a little bit closer to home – wines from all over England and Wales.
