Organic Wines
These wines have full organic certification from varying bodies. These are well-made wines at acceptable prices, made in a fully organic manner. But do reflect, as one young Burgundy grower pointed out: “Is it better to do ten treatments of (organically allowable) copper sulphate thereby adding to the heavy metals in the soil, or one more effective treatment?”.
If you are interested in browsing wines where the winemaker farms his vineyards in a sustainable, ecologically friendly manner but hasn’t had his land certified Organic, then you may like to look out for our ‘Environmentally Friendly’ wines.
