Blanc de Noirs Champagnes
Blanc de Noirs is the term used to describe white Champagne that has been made from Black Grapes – either one or both of Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Black-skinned grapes have white flesh and juice, which can be extracted with minimal skin contact. It is extended skin contact with the juice that colours red wines made from black grapes.
