Red Sparkling

Red Sparkling Wine is rather unusual and indeed, many people are surprised to find out it exists. Red sparkling wines are usually characterised by their deep purple colour, rather lively mousse, exceptionally aromatic nose and a rather delicious sweetness on the palate. Traditionally they would often be consumed at the end of a meal with dessert (particularly chocolate ones) or hard cheese. However, we’ve seen many a bottle of sparkling Shiraz being enjoyed with charred offerings and a group of friends at a barbeque.
