Colheita Port
This is a ‘wood-aged’ Port from a given vintage, so it is in effect a vintage dated Tawny. The particular casks tend to be aged, as for tawnies, for a considerable time, and Colheitas are the best casks that don’t go into the 20 year old styles. Intense, nutty, full of dried fruit with real depth and power to them, these wines are best drunk on the cool side but not chilled.
