Cream Sherry
Made by blending Oloroso with sweet PX or Moscatel. Sadly this wonderful style is often stricken (and passed over) by association with maiden aunts and everybody’s granny! This is a travesty because it is superb with cake, drunk lightly chilled, and is a mass of delicious flavours and aromas. It is also brilliant used in the kitchen, but better, and older wines are equally superb to drink after dinner and deserve much greater support.
