Selling Your Wine

If you have a few bottles or cases of older, interesting wines surplus to requirement,
then do get in touch as we would be delighted to help you find them a new home!

Your wines will be valued free of charge by our buyer, Simon Jones, and we will either purchase them at market prices or advise you on another appropriate channel.

Tanners Broking Service

At Tanners, we can also offer a broking service, acting as agents for the disposal of your wine if it is currently stored with us*.

A commission of 15% of the gross selling price is charged, plus VAT on the commission at the prevailing rate, with you receiving the balance of the sale proceeds.

* Please note: any existing storage charges on wines must be settled before proceeding with the service.

Occasionally we undertake to sell particularly large or valuable cellars for clients on a similar basis.
