Bodegas Antaño

From the Castilla y León region of Spain, historically the frontier land between Christian and Muslim Spain. The winery is in Rueda, which is next to the Ribera Del Duero region. The soil in Rueda, however, is lighter with a higher percentage of limestone endowing the wines of this region with more elegance. The vineyards are on the high plateau of Castille, the central Meseta at an altitude of 600 - 700 metres, this gives cold winters and hot summers. The wine is from 100% Tempranillo grapes aged in 100% American oak. The winemaker is Jose Andreas Nieves.
