Tastings and Events
Tanners Tastings

We hold many tastings of one form or another for customers throughout the year. You can see all our forthcoming tastings and order tickets online here. The busiest time is the Autumn, but you can always check for other tastings by keeping an eye on the Tanners Blog, or if you’re on our postal mailing list, reading Tanners News.
- Tutored tastings given by top producers - or sometimes journalists - are held in the wonderful surroundings of the Clive Tanner Room at Shrewsbury.
- Informal walk-about tastings are held in a variety of locations including the historic Shrewsbury Cellars in the run-up to Christmas.
- The popular Spring Tastings, with our growers showing their wares, are usually in March and have the feel of a wine fair.
- In addition, each of our branches puts on informal tastings for local customers: contact your local branch for more details.
