In 1996 the brothers bought 250 hectares of land in the Valle de Uco, Argentina, which has been turned into a 200 hectare vineyard and a substantial winery. In order to keep up with demand, they also control many neighbouring vineyards in the same region of the Uco. In 1997, they began to market their own wines from Chile, then in 2000 François bought 200 hectares in the Colchagua valley.
