Brighton Gin

The Brighton Spirits Company was set up by five friends all living in Brighton and Hove. Restaurateur Cathy Caton; physicist turned distiller, Ian Barry; PR specialist, and former Tanners employee, Helen Chesshire; Jonathan Ray drinks editor for the Spectator magazine; and entrepreneur Nigel Lambe.

The tiny distillery is to be found in the basement of the Urchin Pub in Hove. The base is 100% organic British grain spirit to which are added a secret mix of botanicals but including orange, lime, angelica, and milk thistle.
