Brighton Gin, 40% vol
Made in the tiny basement of a pub in Hove just outside Brighton, among the more normal botanical of juniper coriander and citrus peel sits milk thistle, giving it a creamy herbal character.
|Bottle Size||70 cl|
|Area||English Dry Gin|
Brighton Gin is smooth, gentle and approachable and is mellow enough to be sipped neat over ice. It is particularly delicious as part of a classic G&T, served with a fine tonic and a slice of orange – the better to bring out the citrus botanicals – and works brilliantly in a Martini, a Negroni and a French 75. Locals often drink it as a unique Brighton Gin Rocktail – with tonic, ice and a chunk of Brighton rock.
If, like me, you are a sucker for great packaging, you’ll love this. Influenced by its hometown, the ticket-style label features Brighton landmarks and has a beside-the-seaside feel.
