Non-vintage (NV) champagne is blended from dozens of individual cuvées and vintages, so that the ‘house style’ is consistent. It must have spent a minimum of 15 months on the lees. They are usually a blend of grape varieties: Chardonnay for fruit and body; Pinot Noir for elegance and structure; and Pinot Meunier for softness and fruit. All three Tanners Champagnes – our house, spécial and rosé – are supplied by Beaumont des Crayères , based in Mardeuil, a village west of Epernay. A highly impressive small co-operative of about 250 growers, with 90 ha under the direct control of award-winning champagne maker, Olivier Piazza, the vineyards are mostly located around the village in the Marne Valley. We also offer Joseph Perrier – the Perrier family has been producing Champagne since 1825. Henriot is another less well-known house that has been producing excellent Champagnes since 1808. We can also provide a wide range of different champagne bottle sizes, including quarters, half bottles, magnums, jeroboams and methuselahs.
