Prosecco

Prosecco has seen a huge surge in popularity in the last few years and is a charming sparkler made from the Glera grape variety, sourced from the regions of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy. This light, dry, sparkling wine is perfectly suited to parties, summer evenings and/or serving as an apéritif. Prosecco is also the key ingredient for the classy Bellini cocktail: simply pour a measure of white peach purée into a flute glass and top up with well-chilled Prosecco to whet the appetite of your guests. The recently added Prosecco Rosé DOC, with up to 15% Pinot Noir allowed, is sure to prove a hit.
