This well regarded estate dates back to the 14th century but has been owned the Touchais family of Anjou, producers of Moulin Touchais, since 1964.
Luc Touchais took over from his father in 1973 and set about completely renovating the vineyards and buildings both of which had fallen in to disrepair. Now the estate is some 17 ha and is run by Luc's son Lionel. The estate is situated in the Haut-Médoc on Gravel soil with a small amount of limestone. The vineyards are planted with 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc.
