Château Lanessan, Haut-Médoc 2012
Lashings of deliciously youthful, sappy fruit. Blackcurrant, cedar and cigar box notes on the nose develop into a rich, finely balanced palate and good length. Its vineyards are very well-located opposite Château Gruaud Larose.

Bright, layered crimson. Already quite mature on the nose. Sweet and fruity – not the subtlest bordeaux but easy to like. Dusty finish. Very dry end but truly Médoc! 16/20.
