Château Pavie

Château Pavie

Château Pavie is one of the four elite Saint-Emilion Châteaux classified as premier grand cru classé A. It was promoted to 1er grand cru status in 1954 and to class A in 2012.

The Château was sold to Parisian millionaire, Gérard Perse in 1998. M. Perse also owns Châteaux Monbousquet and Pavie Decesse. He brought in consultant wine-maker Michel Rolland and completely renewed the equipment in the winery. The production today is about 6,500 cases.
