Château Rives-Blanques, Blanquette de Limoux Brut 2015
Hand-harvested grapes and low yields, this is the world's oldest sparkling wine. Peach, pear and soft white fruits, floral too. Then dry, with touches of smoke and toast, more fruit and good finish. An excellent Champagne substitute.

This 100% Mauzac cuvee has a juicy zestiness with grassy, earthy notes and pear and white fruit undertones. It has no dosage, but might work well alongside a spicy curry.
