This is a dynamic group of 5 co-ops in Gascony, south of Bordeaux. They have about 1000 members covering over 2500 hectares of vineyards, mostly in St Mont, where they control 98% of the production, but also significant parts of Madiran and Pacherenc.

Many other local wines are also produced as well as being a major supplier of quality juice to other producers. The driving force behind the formation of the group in 1979 was André Duboscq, now retired but still a great influence. One of the major aims was to keep alive the many old, local grapes, which are only found in this area, and to provide a route to market for these wines. Many old properties, which previously only sold wine for distillation were replanted, and are now sold as single estates. Quality has always been an aim here, with growers paid according to the quality of the grapes. They were one of the pioneers of modern white wine making in this part of the world and the top reds are aged in air-conditioned barrel cellars.
