Domaine Bonneau du Martray
Exceptionally Bonneau du Martray is made up of a single 11 hectare parcel of the Corton-Charlemagne hill. Jean-Charles le Bault de la Mornière inherited the estate in 1993 and left his architectural practice in Paris to take over the reins.
With a blend of old and new he has crafted fine, elegant wines that age brilliantly. In January 2017 US billionaire Stanley Kroenke, who also owns Screaming Eagle and Arsenal football club, acquired a majority shareholding in the winery.
