Domaine de la Chauvinière

Domaine de la Chauvinière

One of the most go-ahead estates in Muscadet, Jéremie Huchet joined the family business in 2001 and since then has overseen the expansion of the estate to some 64 hectares, a third of which is farmed organically.

The origins of the estate go back to medieval times when it was part of a monastery. The cellars and house which make up the estate today were purchased by Jéremie’s Great Grandfather, Joseph Arnaud; it then passed, in 1945, to Jéremie’s Grandfather, Constant Huchet who took over an estate of just 6 hectares. He was in turn joined by his son Yves in 1971 followed by his grandson, Jéremie in 2001.
