Back in the 17th century this estate belonged to a Mr Alexandre, who was also the President of the Parliament of Provence and hence the estate's name. Subsequently in 1968 the estate was aquired by Max Aubert who was followed by his son René who died suddenly in 2008.

Since then the estae has been ably run by his widow Céline. The estate is 160ha, 50 of which are in the Cairanne appellation. It is situated between the villages of Cairanne and Saint Cécile-les-Vignes. Céline is help by 3 brothers: José (cellar master); Manu (viticulturalist in Châteauneuf); and Tony (viticulturalist for Cairanne and Côtes du Rhône).
