Domaine la Collière
Georges Perrot has been making his wines in Romero’s old cellars since 2002 but his plan is to move into new premises, with construction underway of a brand new winery closer to the village. He has 22 hectares from which he makes very pure, elegant wines with juicy red and black fruit.
“Oak is not my style,” he says and we love the vibrant fruit characters he gets in his wines, which are very elegant and almost Burgundian. Wine journalists from both sides of the Atlantic are beginning to sit up and take notice.
